Weekend fun

Saturday night we went to the Ringling's to play. Here is Noah with the ladies.....What a stud.

Noah helped daddy wash cars Sunday afternoon.

He liked the bubbles on his hands.

Ms Lena's daycare had a picnic at the park for all the families. She usually has a get together at the end of the year for the kids that are leaving (this year Noah, Max and Copper). She gave all the kids little goodie bags with toys and gave Jason and I photo albums for each of the boys to remember their time at Ms Lena's. They are so cute and what a great present we will treasure forever! Here is Max's little girlfriend Emma chasing him around.

Noah playing with Conner

Maxi eating watermelon. By the time it was finished he had about 5 slices. He was sticky from head to toe.

We will miss you Ms Lena and Ms Karleen. Wednesday is their last day :(

Friday - Zoo day

New baby monkey at the zoo. you rarely get to see him

Maxi riding the merry-go-round. Jason had to hold Noah, he wasn't quite sure about it.

African safari in the background

Noah wanted to go to the bird exhibit. Jason and I were getting hot and tired but decided we would take him and that would be it for the day. We were glad we went, it ended up being the best part at the zoo! Noah was able to walk right up and feed the birds.

Mommy got 2.

Daddy helped feed the birds.

Noah didn't really want to take his eye off the bird.

Max got a turn too. After he ate bird seed

Noah holding 2 birds at once

Daddy riding the wagon down hill. All in all a great day at the zoo.

The great escape......

So Jason found a frog while he was mowing lawns and brought it home to surprise Noah when he got home from daycare....this is what happened.......

Here they are destroying my flowers hunting for it.

Slacker....

I know, I know - I have been slacking lately. I am just ready for September. Busy right now, but not an excuse. Tomorrow I am taking the day off for a family day since this is the last Friday the boys are home. They are starting a new preschool and will go full time. Jason and I had taken them out on Friday's to save a little money and now it is time for them to go back. I try not to think to much about them leaving Ms Lena's. She is a WONDERFUL daycare provider and I have been so blessed to have found her and to have her care for my boys for almost three years. But change is good right? They start next Thursday so I will have pics posted of their first day at their new school. Anyway, here are some pics of Max's last day at The Little Gym. He had finally come out of his shell just in time for the class to be over.

Clap, Clap....let go of my arm....Clap, Clap

Riding the bouncer up

I think I will ponder on this for a while

Hiding in my fort.

Who are you?

I love the Feedjit Live Traffic Feed. It's cool to see who all comes and visits. I often wonder who everyone is and how they found the blog....so if you are reading this post and perusing the site leave me a comment and let me know who you are. If you don't have an account send an anonymous message. Let me know what you think! Thanks and happy blogging.

I got tagged....whatever that means...

OK - so I am supposed to write 7 facts about myself.
1. I am a pessimist. Always have been, always will be (Call me Debbie Downer)
2. I get "fuzzy teeth" and the chills when I or someone else touches foam (you know the stuff carpet padding is made of). I literally can't speak when I am touching it, it's like my tongue swells up and my teeth get itchy, yes that's what I said.
3. I have a phobia of things in costume - Easter Bunny, Chucky Cheese, Pistol Pete, etc.
4. Tulips are my favorite flower
5. My new favorite treat is graham crackers with melted hershey chocolate candies.
6. If I could eat any food everyday for the rest of my life it would be King Crab with butter
7. I am married and have 2 children - that is a fact.

A trip to the Dentist

We were welcomed to the office with our own sign!

We were taken back to the exam room to wait for Dr. Fox and Max liked the big chair

Hey what's up here? This sink is just my size

Mommy showing Noah how to brush his teeth with the big toothbrush

Nurse Jennifer going over a few things before we saw the Dentist (notice Noah lounging on the floor)

Ooh look Max got a new toothbrush. They both got bags full of goodies. They even got their own mirrors to look at their own teeth

Dr Fox checking Maxi's teeth first. Noah wasn't to sure about it

Picture of Maxi's teeth on the screen.

Max did really well. He cried a little bit but Dr Fox was so patient and sweet to the boys.

It's Noah's turn. Let's count your fingers first.

Now it's time to count Noah's teeth. This doesn't hurt at all. My big boy didn't fuss at all.

Noah gets pictures of his tooth too. He got to hold the camera while Dr Fox looked in his mouth

Counting Noah's teeth

A balloon for being so good. Plus stickers and a prize from the wall

We'll see you in 6 months!

All in all it was a great visit! I just hope it goes this well the next time. If anyone in Tulsa needs a referral to a great pediatric dentist this is it, the first impression was amazing! Smith & Fox at the Kelley Building.

Talking on the phone

Noah wanted to call his friend Luke. However, Luke did not want to talk on the phone so he just talked to Nicole (Luke's mom)....notice he becomes Rain Man in this coversation.

Side Note: We have no idea when he got bit on the finger by a bee or where. But it is a big deal and he tells everyone the same story.

Brusha, Brusha, Brusha....

My big boys.....

New Furniture

We got new furniture. Granted I still need lamps and pictures on the wall but it's a start. We will probably paint the walls a lighter shade of moss green but this is fine for now. I like to call it "Adult" furniture as opposed to the furniture I had for 10 years with a big hole in the cushion....

Oh and yes, I realize the tv stand is on wheels. We haven't decided on placement and it is heavy.

Around the house....

Not much going on around here. The house is still coming along. I haven't taken pictures yet b/c I would like to have new furniture first and get it a little more decorated. Right now we are just living in it. Over time it will all come together. It has been way to hot here in Tulsa to do any kind of yard work. Poor Jason is dying mowing lawns. I think yesterday it was 105....yes, it was that hot. We have been spending time on the weekends at the pool and enjoying the jupiter jump!

Maxi eating "Rogurt" (Scooby Doo yogurt pack). As you can see it was everywhere!

Noah is a whiz on the computer now. He likes Spongebob, Thomas the Train and Nick Jr games. Jason and I rarely need to help him anymore.

Max the magician.

We took the jupiter jump to Nonni and Grampas. That is what is great about it - it is so easy to travel with and takes minutes to put up and take down. Believe it or not, it is the one toy in this world that actually fits in the bag it comes in. Awesome investment!!!
