Max is still not sleeping, which has now become the story of our lives. We have changed his feeding schedule which has helped slightly....but that could be age as well. One day WE WILL get to sleep again. He can't stay awake forever....or can he???

I walked in to Noah's room in the morning to get him up for Lena's. This is how we found him. Now I understand why they make pajamas so tight .....

Max started eating cereal this weekend. He did pretty well! We are on our way. Hopefully cereal will magically help him sleep through the night?

4 month Checkup

4 month shots hurt...a lot! Max is really sore tonight but his appt went well. He is 12 lbs 10 oz (17th%); 24 in (27%). We get to start cereal so this should help him sprout! We have our good nights and bad nights but overall things are starting to come together in the Phillips household.

I love Noah will all my heart and couldn't live my life without him...BUT...we are hitting the terrible two's I think??? After talking to my mother I am even more convinced he is definately my child. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and VERY stubborn. When he gets fixed on something you can not change his mind. He is going to do what he wants to do when he wants to do it. I actually told my mother "Oh God, I am in trouble". Noah is still saying No but it has become more defiant. It isn't just a no but a NO, NO daddy momma. Yes, he says both of our names and points his little finger at us. He will always have to have the last word, which just isn't going to work, b/c I always have to have the last word. Aaah, I take a deep breath and remind myself he is almost 2 and hopefully this is just a phase. As I can hear my mother laughing in the back of my head. His other latest is to run from you when you try to get him to do something - at daycare he even tried to run and hide. I think he learned that from Skittles, b/c every morning she runs and hides under the bed when it is time for us to leave. I think once Noah realizes I am mad he continues to run faster because stopping just isn't a good choice to make. Oh well what are you going to do but smile.

Summer Days

Man it is HOT here. I feel sorry for the PGA goers. With me back at work now it is harder to find time to update the blog...so bear with me! Max is growing like a weed. I can't believe next Tuesday he will be 4 months. He is the happiest baby, never sleeps, but very happy. He loves for you to sit and talk to him or likes it when Jason puts on the 80's music channel and sings to him. He also loves to hold on to his feet(note to self, get a picture of that)
Last weekend was Aunt Janna's Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We had fajitas and margaritas. We kept cool playing in the pool. And some random pics of the Noah and Max
