Day 5 - More of the same
More beaching. Went and ate dinner at a great restaurant (West End). I can't believe we have been here almost a week. The time has flown by and I'm not ready to get back to the real world. We've done some exploring to see if there might be another area we'd like to stay in but this little neighborhood is great.

Day 3 - Drinking Like A Man
We decided to take a break from the beach in the afternoon and went to the 4D movie at Moody Gardens and then walked around The Strand - little touristy shops. It was hot and the boys didn't last long. But it was a nice break and fun to do something different.
waiting for the movie. Sharing an icee and pretzel.

Day 2 - Crab Walking
Every night we go in search of crabs. So much fun to just walk along the beach with the boys. I still can't believe we have 4 more days of this. It's been so relaxing and I don't think I have slept this well ever.

Day 1
Day 1 at the beach. Eating lunch. The boys enjoyed every minute of it. Not once did Max say "I want to go home". This is monumental since pretty much anytime we go anywhere those are the first words out of his mouth

Enjoying the water. Not one bit afraid.

After day 1 Jason is already planning our trip next year.

Eating dinner on the deck. We finally ate hamburgers by about 8:00 not because we were on the beach all day but because the charcoal we bought wouldn't light. And instead of immediately running to the store Jason fought with it for an hour. Finally just went and got Lighter Fluid and lit the whole thing up. In his defense the charcoal I bought was "Self Lighting - No Lighter Fluid Needed". I don't know what that means but it does require lighter fluid
