Pumpkin Carving 101

Great night of pumpkin carving. Only a few mishaps. I am not a great pumpkin carver and the coating on my roasting pan RUINED the pumpkin seeds

Okay so I didn't use a template this year and screwed up. It worked but I had to rig it.....I cut out the middle part of the P....idiot. Anyway, after Jason laughed at me he helped me fix it. I have cute ideas just a problem in execution. Good thing is it looks like a magical floating middle.

October Happenings

We are repainting, well Jason is repainting (but it was my idea) our table and chairs in the kitchen to black. Noah decided to help sand the chair.

Does this promote violence?

Max is really into fighting and wrestling so I thought this would be a good way of taking out his aggression without hurting anyone in the family.....

Bixby Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Bixby Pumpkin patch and walked through the cornfield maze, picked pumpkins, and rode the ponies. Great day with the boys (and my mom)

Pumpkin Patch with Daycare

Ms Anita's daycare had a day at the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun but Noah wanted to go to the other pumpkin patch (it has a dark maze to walk through) so we will do that another day.....it was nice to meet some of the other parents and finally figure out who all the other kids are at daycare with the boys. Maxi was either not feeling well this day or just 2 1/2 because he was a bear but we got through it

Jason had to sit in on the group picture b/c Maxi wasn't having any of it. Megan is the helper in the middle, Ms Ruth who taught the boys The Pledge of Allegiance is 2nd to the end and then Ms Anita on the very end.
