Talkin to the fish

The Aquarium

We took the boys to The Aquarium today. Noah had a ball. He was so loud talking to all of the fish. Max slept the whole time.

Last Day at Little Gym

So Noah had his last day at The Little Gym a few weeks ago. I didn't realize they would have a little "ceremony" where the kids stood on a podium and got a ribbon. So I didn't take my camera (idiot). Nicole did take some pictures for us. Noah still never really grasped the concept of participating in group activities but overall I think he enjoyed going and running around every week. By the last day he was able to walk across the balance beam with help (which on the first day he was terrified of) I guess he did learn something. Never did figure out how to hang from the bars though. Poor guy I think his fingers are to short to wrap around it.

9 Week Photo Op

He was in a good mood...thought I would make him sit for a photo session.

Splish Splash

Noah's first swimming pool fun this summer. We went with Brent and Nicole to swim.

By the end of the night Noah was going under water. It helped they had the pool heated - it was like bath water.

Playing Around

Noah holding Max. How exciting that he actually wants to when I ask him.

Loves to give him kisses too.

Max can sit in his Bumbo. He has such great head control I thought I'd try and he loves it. I can't believe he is almost 9 weeks.

A visit to the Dr.

Max will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. He got an A+ at the Doctor's office today. He is 10lbs 2oz and 22". Go bubba, grow! Had 4 shots today, poor guy, didn't know what hit him! We are still working on a schedule. We have one great day to several "bad" days. He is a snacker and a cat napper which makes it difficult to get him on a great schedule. I did break down last night since Jason was at the station and let him sleep in bed with me - he slept about 6 hours. Great...is this the only way we will get any sleep? I will keep trying. I go back to work in 4 weeks. I am looking forward to my new position but will miss being at home. With Noah I was ready to go back to work - I have mixed emotions this time around.

The big weigh in at the Dr Office

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day Noah and I made chocolate covered pretzels for Jason. Noah did pretty well. He helped for all of 5 minutes. He didn't like all the chocolate on his hands. I thought it would be everywhere but he kept it contained. We took the pretzels to Jason at that station, then went and visited Grampa Phillips with Baskin Robbins Cherries Jubilee ice cream and then dinner with Papa Journeycake. Hope everyone had a Happy Father's Day!

Fun Times

Gotta wear shades

Sword Fighting - someone's gonna get hurt!

Save the World

So my sister sent these shirts for the kids. They are saving the world bit by bit and thought my kids could be the billboard :) Thanks Alaska Clan!!!

EUREKA

Okay so we have finally turned the corner with Max. Knock on Wood (knock, knock), but he is actually on a schedule. I have slept in my bed twice now about 3 hours each time. Yeah - it was soooo comfortable. He started smiling this week and cooing at us. Super alert and definitely not as fussy! Yeah for Baby Max. It was that magical six week mark. Things just started to click. Jason and I actually had a date night last night. Sushi and drinks with friends. It was nice being out and socializing with adults!
Hello world
Oh wait.......A smile!
