2 Boys and a baby

We have been toying with the idea of getting a dog. I had said a young dog and Jason said no a puppy. I found this little darling....FRODO. ARF needed fosters for the Thanksgiving weekend so I thought this would give everyone a taste of what it would be like having a puppy in the house. Let's put it this way....the house had never been cleaner. The boys learned very quickly they couldn't leave their toys on the floor. It was a lot of fun having him but I was glad to return him. I can handle a puppy and I can handle the children but I can't handle a puppy AND children. The boys just couldn't understand that the puppy bites. So I had to hear Max all weekend whining the dog was biting him. Noah did finally adjust and learned to quit running away from him and just sit. Frodo loved to cuddle. We will get a dog in the near future HOWEVER it will be a young dog that's potty trained and out of the chewing phase.

He loved sitting in the sun on the swingset plank

Jason got a big pile of leaves the boys and the puppy loved it. You can see little Frodo's head sticking out in the back

Gettin Max!

I have no idea what Noah is yelling about.

Jumping in the pile! Love this picture

My dad fell in love with Frodo. He talked about the dog all week. Called the Vet today to go get the dog. Lucky for my mother he had already been adopted to a family. Makes me taking him back not so bad after all.

7 years and a Ghost

Jason and I had a weekend getaway to Eureka Springs for our 7th wedding anniversary. It was a great time! We had wanted to do the Crescent Hotel Haunted Tour but it was sold out. We decided to check out the local music instead. So much fun. Happy Anniversary Jason!!! I can't believe where we started....how far we've come....and can only imagine what's next for us!

Heart of the Hills Inn

Listening to acoustic guitar at the Basin Park Hotel

Basin Park is supposedly haunted as well. Did our own investigation. Me in the dining room...nothing in here

However, an orb showed up in this photo (double click to enlarge I circled it!) What the....????? There were actually several different pictures with different orbs in them. this was the best one

Headed on to the New Dehli restaurant where another local band was playing.

Mountain Sprout! According to the Inn Keepers we were "Very Lucky" to get to see them. Hillbilly music! They were a lot of fun!
Fat Tire helped also

and the locals
awwww breakfast

On our way out of town we did another investigation at the crescent hotel just on our own. No sightings. I kept looking in the windows to see if there were any figures...didn't see any.
Then stopped at the Thorncrown Chapel. This is a "SIT DOWN CHAPEL" as we were told by the little old lady. We sat and we left.
Thanks for a WONDERFUL weekend.

Basketball

2 videos of Noah attempting basketball this season at the Y. He has a few things going against him...he's short and the goal is sitting at 8ft. Well it's good for him to learn the game. The first video is of Noah running down the court. I was so excited I turned it off. The 2nd video is the ball in the air from his shot and then a little help from his coach.

Just Max

You can see the innocence

Cute Not So Spooky

Camp Cute N Spooky in Sand Springs....not great but another place to wear our costumes and spend time with Nana and Papa.

Max looks like a fighter pilot. He fell asleep on the way to the place.

Family photo op

Okay, will I ever get a good picture WITH my children? That's all I ask for

Noah doing magic....Abracadabra let there be candy in my basket. There was all right - 4 pieces. Seriously that's all they got a this thing...4 pieces of candy. They ate it all before we even left.

Noah and the scarecrow. He's so dramatic with that wand

Scooby attacking daddy

Maxi loves his Papa. I'm so glad we get to do these things with grandparents. They enjoy it as much as the kids I think.

Boo 2010

Halloween 2010. It's always more fun trick or treating with friends!

The parents...ooooh we look so scary standing there

Fighting for candy

Phillip's boys getting it all to themselves

Maxi so proud of himself this year

The magician and the monkey devouring THE LOOT before bed!

Oh and this fantastic bad guy showed up before bed as well

Oh wait it's just grampa with scary gardening tools for hands.

Where have you been?

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY NOAH!!!! We took him to Great Wolf Lodge in Dallas for his birthday. Our close friends came along. It was a great birthday for him and a fabulous mini vacation for us.

Noah's such a big boy now...climbing trees and helping his brother

Our room at the lodge....The boys had their very own Wolf Den with bunk beds

We got to do Halloween dress up during Storytime. Anyone who knows me knows that this Giant Wolf about gave me an anxiety attack. She even tried to put her arm around me. I had a few words with her....yikes!

Noah with his best friend Luke

We celebrated Noah's birthday with a little hotel room party. This was him opening his cat
The cat - Fur real

Noah's birthday hat

heading down to story time. Max wanted to be a part of the story

ahhhhh friends

and we can't forget the swimming. So much fun. Dalla was much better than Kansas City although the boys didn't get to ride as many rides. Jason and I got to enjoy the rides though

The wave pool. Noah not as crazy about it as Max. Max liked getting washed by the waves
Went to Grapevine mall and ate at Tropical Rainforest.

Nothing like chillin with your best friend

The boys rode the train in the mall with daddy! Good times
