It's Pele'

Noah had his first soccer game. It started out a little rough. He walked in to a gym full of parents and other kids. It was entirely to loud for him. Hands over his ears and then he panicked when we told him it was time to go play. He started crying. After about 15 minutes of Jason and I trying everything to get him to play I took him aside - to a quiet area where we could talk. We had a heart to heart and I asked him what he was afraid of and he said "All the people". Once I explained that they weren't there watching him he seemed a little better. Finally after a few minutes he said "Okay mommy I will try". I almost started crying because he was just so sweet about the whole thing. He ended up going out there and having a ball - even scored 5 goals.

Go Team!

Noah and Luke on the same team
We had a double header. The green team was pretty good
We had a leg up on the Red Team since we had just practiced for 45 minutes before. This is Noah's first goal
Another goal!

Luke was always right there to congratulate him. They are so sweet together

Soccer Practice

Noah had his first soccer practice. We signed him up with the Bixby YMCA. His best friend Luke is on the team as well. He did good his first practice. Small world, I know the dad coaching the team. Worked with him in College. He is great with the kids. Jason volunteered to help out when he was needed.

Lining up

Max and Abby rootin for them on the side lines

It's a jungle out there.....

Aunt Janna bought the boys a jungle gym for christmas. The weather has FINALLY been nice enought to start playing outside. Jason was able to put it together this past Friday and the boys love it!

Swinging like a Monkey

Getting ready for take off

oops his hands slipped and he landed on his bum bum. This has happened numerous times. But he's a tough guy and isn't afraid to try again.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Besides asking what our favorite part of the day was we now say prayers at dinner.

Humdinger

One day Noah was singing this song over and over. I thought it was some new song they learned at school. I really can't decipher the words or what he is saying. I thought I would look it up online with what words I could tell. Found nothing. Then I called a girlfriend who used to be a music teacher, thought maybe she would know. She wasn't familiar with it. It was driving me nuts I couldn't figure out the words to the song. The next day I asked his daycare teacher what song it could be. She had no idea either until her assistant, Ms Meagan, said "Oh, I think it's the song from the musical cash register". Well no wonder I couldn't find the words. We will never know what he is really saying while singing this song. But it's a catchy tune

Valentine's Day

Sweets from my sweetheart. Homemade chocolate covered strawberries.

Yoga Bear Time

I have decided it would be good to do Yoga with the boys occassionally. On cable there is an On Demand Kids Fitness and they have little kid yoga. Noah really seemed to enjoy it. Max wouldn't participate.

Namaste

Smackdown

These pictures speak for themselves. So it begins. My children are "Scrappers". Actually Max is really good and strong.....until he gets hurt.

The illegal "bite on the back" move

You can just see the wheels turning in Max's mind

Oooh Max gets a dirty sock in the face

half arm bar

Noah's makin his move

Note....the boys have not watched wrestling and I wouldn't typically encourage but that were laughing and having fun...Jason says this is just what boys do. Really?!?

Be nice to your brother

I love when the boys find the time to be nice to each other. It warms my heart to see them like this:

Noah teaching Maxi how to play the Leapster game

Now it's Maxi's turn to teach Noah

Scene of the crime

(Disclaimer: No one was hurt in capturing these photos)
