Max Update

The only update to give.....

NO baby, not yet! I still have 21 days. I have decided my doctor is a liar. So we sit and wait. (We all know I have NO patience). My next appt is Monday, which doesn't really matter, because nothing is going to happen I have decided for another 21 days.

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail

Noah had a great Easter. Even learned how to hunt Easter Eggs this year. We went to Nana and Papa's on Friday before they left town (we are keeping our fingers crossed that Max doesn't decide to come early - they come home Wednesday!) We hunted eggs at home on Sunday and then again at Nonni and Grampa's. He is an expert egg hunter. He also got some pajama's, a new video - Baby Einstein and Finding Nemo, a couple of books, and lots of plastic eggs.

Happy Family. I've been craving Chocolate Milk - can you tell...Mooooo!

Dad and Noah at Walmart - Noah was scared of the horse

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Tick, Tick, Tick

I know I still have like 4 1/2 weeks left - but after going to the Dr on Monday we are all thinking Max will make his arrival a little earlier, which would be FINE with me. I am a 3 and 80%, from the ultrasound Doc said he is in the right position. Now we all know how unpredictable little ones can be, so for my sake and my sanity let's hope he comes around the 3rd week in April. That will give him more time to "cook" and me more time to get some things done. Bags are packed and ready to go though - that's my obsessive compulsive behavior more than nesting.

Noah is going through a BIG "NO" phase. From the second he wakes up in the morning everything is "no". And when he gets in trouble, he tells me "no, no" before I can even say it to him. So does this mean I use the word entirely to much? I didn't think I overused it but he sure says it a lot. I have a feeling he is going to be the one that will have to get the last word in every time. Even 30 minutes after he gets in trouble he is still pointing and tell me "no, no". Quite comical really. Maybe I can capture that on video some day.

Nanna & Papa's

Jason and I got to have a date night on Friday - we went to dinner and a show at the Brady Theater (Birdhouse Factory). It was nice. Noah spent the night with my parents and had a ball. Unfortunately, Jason and I were so exhausted after the show we were in bed by 10:30. We have officially become "old". Granted, I am pregnant - but I don't think either of us even knows how to party anymore.

It's Dinner Time

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese with Peas, side of goldfish crackers, and for dessert - orange jello. Now that's gourmet mom!

What a weekend

We had the stomach bug around here this past weekend - ugh! It started with Noah Thursday night. Poor thing had no idea what was happening to him. By Saturday morning he was up to par and Jason and I were laid out. Noah got to spend all day Saturday with his Nonni and Grampa. When we picked him up Sunday he was exhausted - he had a great time. We didn't stray far from home on Sunday but Jason bought Noah some outdoor toys.

Noah and Daddy enjoying the weather.

Seriously - you don't have to carry ALL your new toys at once. He didn't put that green bucket down the entire time he played outside.

I feel like I am going to pop! Do I really have 6 weeks left?

Weekend Fun

The new meaning of fish face!

Okay mom we get the picture, this is funny....can I take these off now???

So Noah and I ventured to the zoo by ourselves on Saturday. It was a little difficult since I couldn't let him out of the stroller. I couldn't keep up with him when I did. So, we walked around for about an hour looking at what animals were out. Note: the Llama was the only one we saw up close. Then we went home and played in the backyard. Okay so please don't look at our field of "wild flowers" as I like to call them. This spring our goal is to fix up the backyard for Noah - He LOVES to play outside.

Noah's point of view

This sucks - I want out of this stroller!

Aaahhh - my backyard.

Thanks mom for letting me out of the stroller

Lookin at the doggies on the other side

and we're off...again

Sunday Mornings. We love to watch Baby Bach
(Okay so we like any Baby Einstein anytime of day or night)

Wait, no pictures - my hair is a mess!

Noah playing at daycare

Catching Butterflies
I wasn't doing anything wrong
back off Colin - it's my car
Ummm, excuse me Cooper, but I want to play with this.

Daycare Mommies

So there were 2 other mom's pregnant at Noah's daycare. They had their babies this past week. Max will have new friends to play with. (please note: I have 7 weeks left, somehow I feel like I look as far along as the other two - can I get any bigger?)

Noah's favorite "book"

Okay so it is the little things that amuse children. Noah's latest is to watch Baby Einstein - ALL THE TIME. While he watches it he "reads" the little brochure that comes inside the DVD case. When he gets home the first things he does is run back to his playroom and get that brochure and look at it....over and over.

Why do we even buy toys?
