Noahism

Noah: June bugs die if they are in the sun to long
Me: I didn't know that. Who taught that to you Noah?
Noah: No one. Me, I just did. My brain showed me that.

Camp Out!

Noah has been asking to go on a campout forever. Jason bought a tent and we set it up in the backyard. The boys did really well, all three of them. Jason and Max fell asleep first and then Noah. I on the other hand could not sleep. I guess as a mother to many things start running through your mind at the end of the day, outside, at night. Anyway, I started noticing lightning so I moved the fans onto the porch. Then I heard thunder so I went inside to check the weather. Looked like pretty big storms were going to come through. My mom called and said the storms would be there in about an hour. I thought since everyone was asleep we'd give it a try. I just laid there watching the lightning and then the wind started. It wasn't that bad I just finally decided it wasn't worth it when I knew my bed was only a few feet away. I couldn't leave them out there alone (even though Jason was there) so I woke everyone up and we went inside before the storm hit. As I laid Noah in bed he said to me "That campout was so much fun". I told him next time we would stay out there all night and he could wake up in the morning outside. I AM NOT A CAMPER PEOPLE. I will always try for my children to do something like this but I was ready to get into my own bed. Better luck next time. The boys had a great time!

Getting ready to campout. Daddy setting up the fans.

Memorial Day Weekend 5-2010

What a great Memorial Day weekend. We played in our little pool in the backyard all day, every day. We'd get the slide completely wet and put the baby pool at the end. Max loved going down the slide over and over to splash in the pool.

Sweet Maxi

SPLASH!

My Noah
Daddy's turn to go down with Max. If you click on the picture below to see it bigger I love the expression on Jason's face and then Max's face.

Jason and Max popped the pool when a toy punctured the side. So now we have this.........
It won't fit under the slide but just as fun to cool off this summer

Lizards - oh what fun

Poor guy broke his tail off to get away. Glad we finally "lost" him. I really didnt feel like taking care of a lizard.

Sharing candy is the best

I found the boys in the backyard just enjoying each other's company and sharing candy. I love these moments!

May Day May Day

Beginning of Spring. The boys just playing around the house. Nothing new or exiting.

Max saying, in his loudest voice, I'm gonna get YOUUUUU mommy!

Phonics

Our dinner prayer by Noah:
Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Amen.
Bless us O' Lord
For these thy gifts
which we are about to receive
through the belly of Christ
our Lord Amen.

For those that may not know this prayer....it should be bounty of Christ. Oh my sweet boy!
