Busy days

Things seem really busy lately. I am ready for the month of October to be done. Max is no longer sleeping through the night....yes, he actually was once we moved his crib out of Noah's room, but he got sick and now we are up again. My last day with Hilti was on Thursday, it was difficult saying goodbye but I am anxious to get started at my new job. We had a garage sale this past weekend. I don't think I will have another one again - ever. We did make some money though which is bonus, it's just a lot of work. Noah's birthday is right around the corner. We are going to have a small party at our house and then take everyone to HallowZooeen. The Tulsa Zoo stays open in the evening for trick or treating. We went last year and had a lot of fun. I can't believe Noah will be 2 and Max is 6 months. Crazy how time flies.

Survived the Week

Jason made it back from fishing. Thanks to my mother I survived the week. They caught a lot of fish so it made the drive worth it (16 hours to Minnesota). Some pics of the boys playing around one night.

Riverwalk

Last night we took the family to the Riverwalk and met the Miller's. We had pizza and then enjoyed the beautiful weather. I don't know why we didn't do this sooner with Noah, he loved it.

Sanford and Sons

So we are living "Ghetto Fabulous" right now....as you can see we have a new flat screen tv (that's what makes it fabulous) with 2 broken tv's and one tv on loan that we need to return scattered in various rooms. Our microwave stand has become our makeshift tv stand and our microwave...well it's housed very nicely. I'M LIVING IN TOTAL CHAOS!!! Can you say....garage sale? We are having one in October. So I will live like this until October 13th. Family news... I have decided to resign from Hilti. It has been a great learning experience and I will miss everyone terribly. I am going to work for Cherokee Nation Enterprises (the Casino) in their HR Dept. A lot of the same things I am doing now and a few new tasks with the opportunities to grow within the company more quickly than if I had stayed with Hilti. Jason and I are both nervous and excited about the change! The benefits are great and I truly think this will be a good move. Enjoy my chaos.....

Not much new to report around here. Max sleeping through the night lasted all of a week, Ugh! So we have rearranged furniture and put him in his own room. The Playroom has now become his room, Noah's room now has all of his toys and tv in it. We may be creating another monster by doing this. Let's see how long it takes for Noah to figure out how to get out of bed and play in the dark. We are hoping that by putting Max in his own room he can learn to soothe himself to sleep (in other words cry it out).

Zoo Video

Great Weekend

We took the boys to the Zoo Sunday morning. Going early pays off - all the animals were out. And as you can tell by the elephant he was "all out". Monday we did finger paints in the back yard. What a great holiday weekend! Oh, and Noah can now sing Old MacDonald to Max. We will try to get that on video. It may turn into another "No" video though.

Noah is starting to interact with Max so much now. As you can see Max loves his big brother as well. We have had almost a solid week of Max sleeping through the night...YIPPEEE....and in his crib too! Man it feels so good to sleep!
