What a mess

This is what happens when you have a water leak..... Although I am excited to get new floors. I hate living like this.....

Boys carpet was able to be saved. But the flooring in the living room not so much. All new floors. Finally picked something but it could be another 2 weeks before it's all fixed. So in the meantime I get to look at the concrete for the last 2 1/2 weeks.

Happenings

I have got to update this blog...

Not much happening right now. We had a water leak, floors being ripped up, moved to in-laws for a few days and that's about it.

Oh Max started a new school, Ms Helens and loves it.

That' it. Good thing the weather will be getting nicer I'll have more to share when we can get out of the house more.

Noah said he was itchy and said it was because of mesquito bites. He said "Did you know there is a bug that sticks his butt in you and then sucks your blood. If it stays in too long it will 'insect' your blood".



I asked Noah this morning why always comes into our bed in the middle of the night and he said "To see if your pillows are cold. My pillow gets too hot"

Max Wisdom

As I was cutting his nails tonight Max looks at his arms and says

"My arms are getting big. My arms are getting long. I don't need to go to school anymore. I don't want to be a pilot like Grampa. I'm just going to be a fireman like Daddy".

I have no idea what that has to do with is arms getting longer?

5 Day Cabin Fever

So we are going on day 5 of kind of being trapped. We were able to get out Thursday and get to the grocery store. It snowed again yesterday, Friday and we managed to make it to Jason's parents so he could do their driveway. Day 5, I'm home with the kids while Jason is at work and to be honest I don't want to go out in the snow. These pics are from day 2 the day after the Blizzard. We walked to our neighbors house to play and then had some time in the snow. Max didn't much care for it...Noah could have stayed out for hours. Our friends were nice enough to give us Strep though. Yes, Noah is now running a temperature and we are headed to the Dr. Thank you Knight Family we can't wait to come play again. LOL
The boys are wearing hot pink gloves with embroidered hearts....that's all that was left at the store on Monday before the storm. Oh well, we'll buy boy gloves next year. Hey...they keep their hands warm and that's all that matters.

Snowmaggedon 2011

Crazy to think that two days prior we were having 76 dgree weather and then the 2nd Blizzard ever recorded in Tulsa. 15" of snow and below zero wind chills.

When looking out the window this looked like a pretty deep snow drift

Sweet Big Brother

Noah gets a "special day" star for having a good day. When he got home he made one for Max since he had been home sick all day. It was a really sweet moment.

76 in January

We had an unusual day of BEAUTIFUL 76 degree weather in January on a Saturday at that! We took the boys to Hunter Park and had a picnic. Absolutely wonderful day!!!

B-I-N-G-O

Noah's school PTA puts on a Bingo Night. Noah was one of the only kids from his class but it was a lot of fun. We didn't win any big bingo's but we did win the Silent Auction for Noah to have a one on one lunch with his teacher. We were bidding against another kid from his class.
