Noah First Day of Pre K

Big boy getting ready for school....Started all day Pre-K at Cedar Ridge Elementary on Friday. He has been so excited, and I think ready to go for a while. Little things leading up to school starting....Jason asked him to come closer so he could see if he needed a haircut for school and Noah said "I need a haircut so all the girls will like me?". Another was last weekend we were leaving daycare and saying goodbye. I said "we'll see you Monday" and Noah said "Not me, I won't be here I'll be at big boy school". Little did he realize he still had another week there. Meet the teacher was Thursday night and I had a really hard time didn't realize it would be that hard just meeting the teacher. It was really overwhelming figuring out where to go, what to order, and the logistics of it all is stressing me out. Getting Noah to and from school when Jason is at the station and relying on grandparents to help out. I appreciate them helping out....I just wish it were me taking and picking up everyday.

The Big Day! I told Noah he looked so handsome and he said "So the girls will like me". I reminded him he had to be nice to the girls and not be bossy, then they'd like him.

His ginormous backpack. he picked Star Wars
Maxi saying goodbye to Noah. it was a big day for Max as well, first time without Noah at daycare with him.
Mommy telling Maxi he was going to have a great day
walking to school. The parking lot was crazy busy so we parked in the neighborhood across the street.

Daddy and Noah "walking" into school. Noah was grinning from ear to ear.
Noah and mommy in front of his classroom door. His teacher is Mrs Pfriem and the teacher's aide is Mrs Pokorny.
Noah's cubby
Finding his seat and starting to color.

Noah wrote his name at the top of the paper right next to the work school. Now it looks like it reads "Noah's cool"

daddy hugs goodbye. It looks like Noah is sad but wasn't. in fact he asked when we were leaving several times. Along with "are you leaving yet?"
Mommy kisses goodbye. Kind of looks like he's pushing me away ready for me to go

this is my sad face. I kept it together until we left his classroom and in the hallway I just broke down. I can't believe my little boy is growing up!!! You can see the tears on my cheeks when blown to full size but let's not do that....you can see my wrinkles as well ha,ha
Aaahhh 3:25 and we get to pick up Noah! Yeah. He had a fabulous first day. He was a little disappointed though he didn't get to see the library.
Do you think he had a great day?
and Maxi too!
A feeble attempt at pretending the like each other
All in all a great day. We took the boys to Los Cabos to celebrate and then walked around bass pro forever.

Watermelon can be eaten anywhere

Oh yes it can. And why not in the bathtub. They were already taking a bath this just saved me a step from cleaning up the sticky watermelon juice.

Sharing...because the other person's watermelon just tastes completely different than the one you have in your hand

Matter of fact...

Seriously where does my child come up with this stuff??? Out of the blue Noah comes in to tell me a story....

Mommy remember when I was at Ms Rosemary's? Well I was playing play dough and a bee flew by and almost stung me on the penis

Stunned I said...What?

He said I was playing play dough and a bumble bee or some kind of bug tried to sting me on the penis. Can you believe that?

Then he turned around and walked off.

The winner goes to.....the bed

Max fell out of bed the other night. We had to move the bed to get him out from under it. We never thought to turn on the light. I just put him back in bed and jason laid with him until he calmed down. Well we should have turned on the light....poor thing busted his eye and got a scratch on his lip.

Learning to be fish

The boys were in group lessons at the beginning of the summer and we decided to give private lessons a go. They are making progress. Can't wait for them to learn to swim on their own.

Ms Molly...she was great

Max loved being a rocket

Noah would just be telling her stories the whole time during lessons. She'd say okay after you blow your bubbles you can tell me about...whatever he was talking about. He would just keep on talking.

Milestone Max

We were at our friends Luke and Abbey's house and Max pooped on the potty for the first time. His eyes got so big and he was so proud of himself. He ran upstairs to tell Noah and called Daddy at the fire station. One step closer to another poopy party!
