Christmas Take 2

Because of the blizzard we didn't get to do our normal plans on Christmas Day. We had to wait until the 26th to visit Nonni and Grampa. It was nice spreading it out this year!

Opening the great present from the cousins, Jack and Davis. Lots of neat stuff in the box!

Noah got some binoculars from grampa

My Bruce G Weber bag from Tom. Beautiful earings this year

Eating dessert
A growing alligator from the box of goodies from Jack and Davis

A rudolph nose

and a little guy that grows grass for hair

just playing with my camera again. I love the quality of the pictures and it captures Max's innocence (which is rare!)

Christmas Day 2009

Christmas was a blizzard this year. It was great. We had a great day being trapped!

Santa ate all his cookies

and left all of this

Max got his art easel

Noah his hockey table

Noah walked out and saw his presents. You could just see the wheels turning in his head "how did all these presents get in here?"

sweet Maxi was so excited

Noah getting some game time in before we opened presents

Max loves the chalkboard

Noah also got his telescope from Santa

Max was so proud of his oreo cookies from Santa he carried them under his arm for a while

Noah got walkie talkies

Maxi helping Noah open his presents

Then when it was all over they played with the big box that daddy's video game chair came in. Of Course!

I got a new camera and LOVE hearing the shutter click when I take a picture

Daddy shoveling the driveway so he can get his car in

Getting ready to check out our new sleds

Max only enjoyed it for about 10 minutes. Took us longer to get them dressed than for Max to play in the snow

Noah stayed out longer and made some snow angels and played with daddy!

I love my new camera - action shots are awesome!
Hope everyone had as great of a Christmas as we did!

Then one froggy Christmas Eve...

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Storm of the Century

Every snowstorm in Tulsa, OK becomes the storm of the century. But I don't remember ever seeing it like this.....Merry Christmas Eve. No church, No family time with mom and dad, No Ihop after church (Denny's is closed now), No Jason (busy at the firestation), No Janna tomorrow - Christmas will be celebrated on the 26th with my parents, Oh well it could be worse. We do have electricity!

The Best Mouse Cookie

We decorated Christmas cookies the other night. Becoming an annual tradition with my mom. I remember this was one of my favorite childhood memories.....Although this year I didn't get to roll out the dough and eat it. It was a lot of fun and the boys are starting to get it. Next year should be better - they didn't eat as many as last year.
The best cookie is the one you share with a friend (taken from the children's book The Best Mouse Cookie)

The Big Scary Rat

I am not a fan of Chuck E Cheese but the boys had fun there today. This was their first experience at Chuck E Cheese b/c we usually go to Incredible Pizza. I found Chuck E Cheese to be more entertaining for the boys b/c they could actually play the games and there were a lot more rides to ride. It was a fun for a spur of the moment Sunday Activity with the boys.

Max dozing off. The sun was in his eyes

The first ride scared Max. Luckily it didn't ruin the afternoon.
Ahhh this is more like it

Playing in the maze.

Hide N Seek

Playing hide-n-seek with Grampa. Noah loved hiding in the boat with Grampa. Took us forever to find them. They played for over an hour on Thanksgiving day. At one point I think Grampa was even hiding on top of the shed.

hangin with friends

Noah's friend Luke turned 4. They are 6 weeks apart and we do a lot with the Miller's. Noah is excited that Luke is 4 b/c according to Noah if you are 4 you get to play certain video games BUT you have to be 4.....

Noah Wing and Noah Phillips (Luke's Cousin)

Getting ready to ride the 3-d roller coaster ride with daddy.

Utica Santa

Noah asked Santa for a telescope and air hockey table. Max told Santa he wanted (in his cute little stutter) cooooookies and moulk.

Questions from Noah

Mommy do you got a baby in your belly? Why did you swallow Max and me?

When are we gonna get started on Arts and Krouts?
